This morning I came across an interesting story. A group of scientists are declaring they've created the first new artificial life form on earth. They carefully stitched together a chromosome 381 genes long then transplanted it into a living bacterial cell and the result was mycoplasma laboratorium!
Wow! You can bet we'll be hearing more in the news about the ethics of creating artificial life.
