Even though I'm interested in a diverse range of subjects, one subject I can never seem to get away from is revival. I've always been drawn to accounts of revival and stories of God's supernatural power coming in contact with the lives of everyday people. William Seymour, a man greatly used of God during the Azusa Street Revival prophesied that in approximately one hundred years God would powerfully visit His people. There's no doubt in my mind it's time! We are a generation marked to experience a reviving of God's glory, power and goodness more than any other generation. The story of Christianity over the past 2000 years is imprinted over and over again with seasons when God would visit His people. Performing supernatural miracles through humble people, breathing new life into His eternal plan. A plan to communicate and compel all of mankind to choose the free gift of life He offers.
I'm encouraged to see so much creativity, technology and resource utilized throughout the Body of Christ in the effort to reach the world for Jesus. Although, I can't help but think we're still falling far short of what God intends us to accomplish in this hour. It's time once again for heaven to invade individual lives, churches and nations with heaven's glory and heaven's power. To precipitate change in the lives of people in ways and on a scale no one has ever seen before. Bringing us to place where we(the church) correctly and collectively reflect God's glory and transmit His power to a generation of people who are searching for true power and a genuine spiritual experience.
